Rosneft wins auction for Preobrazhensky field in Irkutsk region

Rosnefthas won an auction for the right to develop the Preobrazhensky hydrocarbon field in the Irkutsk region.
The company won with a bid of 928 million rubles for the field following a starting price of 145 million rubles.
The Preobrazhensky field located in the Irkutsk region’s Katangsky district and is 120 kilometers east of the future the East Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline. C3 gas reserves as of the start of 2005 totaled 20 billion cubic meters. Probable D1 oil reserves total 72 million tonnes and gas reserves total 70 billion cubic meters
