Prince Charles has sent a hamper from Highgrove House for an auction aimed at offering better opportunities to young people.
Business leaders are being invited to the promises auction at the Heritage Motor Museum at Gaydon on November 9.
The event is in aid of the Prince’s Trust which last year helped more than 450 disadvantaged Coventry and Warwickshire youngsters to overcome barriers and make a positive change in their lives.
Gareth Smith, area manager of the Coventry branch of the trust, said: “This year we hope to reach out to 500 young people in the area by raising extra funds through our auction.”
Lots include a day in a vintage Rolls Royce, tickets for TV’s Top Gear and the hamper from the prince which contains a bottle of whisky, crystal glasses and a rug.
