Published December 8th, 2007

British Car Auctions is offering three “as new” examples from MG Rover’s 2004 range at the Blackbushe Auction Centre on Friday 21st December. The cars will be freshly registered as 07/57 plates, and could well be the last of the UK-built MG Rovers available anywhere this year. The cars were placed in storage after the collapse of MG Rover in 2005 and were acquired by Inchcape, who are auctioning off the cars with delivery mileage only. The three models are all unusual or rare examples. The Rover 75 V8 is powered by the 4.6 litre V8 Mustang engine and finished in dark metallic blue and leather interior. The Rover 75 Limousine is of a limited number of long-wheel base models, finished in metallic grey and leather interior. Finally, the MG TF 160 was the flagship performance model of the range and comes with 160bhp from its 1.8litre engine, leather interior, 11-spoke alloy wheels and finished in metallic blue with a black hood.
