Unique fashion creations from the 1920s through the 1980s will be put up for auction on Friday on the sidelines of the 73rd edition of the Pitti Uomo fashion presentation.
The auction has been organized by Maison Bibelot and the 400 lots up for sale, some with an opening price of 1,500 euros, were put on exhibition on Tuesday at Palazzo Guicciardini.
The lots include dresses and accessories from the collection which once belonged to fashion journalist Adriana Grassi, who was the Women’s Wear Daily correspondent in Italy before becoming editor-in-chief of the Italian edition of the French fashion magazine Gap in the mid-1970s.
