Potash deposit auctions

Russia’s Federal Subsurface Resources Agency (Rosnedra) said JSC Acron, Eurochem and a consortium of JSC Silvinit and Rosoboronexport won the mineral deposit auctions held today.
Acron’s Verkhnekamsk Potassium Co won the rights to the first part of the Verkhnekamsk field with a bid of 16.802 bln roubles.

Czechs for gradual introduction of CO2 emission auctions

The Czech cabinet warned Wednesday that the European Commission’s proposal to begin auctioning CO2 emission credits from 2013 would hike energy prices and lower competitiveness for the Czech Republic’s industries, the Industry and Trade Ministry said.
