The auction features a large group of Polish and European artwork from the Estate of Serafin Dobczynski. After emigrating to the United States in the late 1940s, Mr. Dobcynski started the first shipping company that moved goods between the US and Poland. On one of his many trips to his native country, he befriended naive artist Nikifor Krynicki who was homeless and sold his work on the street.
